Policy making has long been acknowledged in professional literature as an essential aspect of library management especially as it related to accountability and compliance. More recently, the importance of policy making has been recognised in the Standards of Professional Excellence for Teacher Librarians. Below are some useful support resources to help school library develop effective and current library policies and procedures.
